Lea went to the knee surgeon today for a follow-up after her surgery, and while he was quite pleased that she has acquired very good flexibility in bending and straightening her knee, he was quite unhappy at the extensive side-to-side motion that remains. He fitted her for a more aggressive brace that, hopefully, will speed the healing of the tendon that holds the knee in place. That tendon had been stretched way out of shape during the collapse of her knee over the past several years. Lea tells of the news in the video clip below.
