Lea and I headed for Monticello, Illinois for Labor Day weekend, spending a few days with Pat & Joe Stroup and his family at their annual family reunion. It is always a nice time, and it was delightful to see that Lea felt well enough (finally) to go away for the weekend. She even baked her famous peach cobbler! We’ll have more news and video early next week.

*I was on the trip …Labor day….I really thought the place was beautiful.. This was the first time I have ever been on a camp out trip..Stayed in a log cabin..Showered in the shower stall..Burr….Survived too! No bears got me or anything. Had lots of food. Larry was the chef…He cooked on the big griddle . . .
Bacon, Scrambled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes and that was just breakfast, one morning! I enjoyed meeting all of the family..A good time was had by all. Hugs and more Hugs.
