We are on the road, for the first time since returning to the mainland in March. We traveled this weekend to eastern Missouri to spend a week with Lea’s sister and brother-in-law, to visit with her family, and to spend a bit of time with Link, Deanna and the granddaughters while they are here from Hawaii visiting Deanna’s family in Illinois.

One of Lea’s passions is flowers, and she was stricken by the beauty of some giant roadside thistle, and just HAD to have it for the dinner table centerpiece.    🙂  

Thistle
