Test results are not yet back, but she has been diagnosed with pneumonia on top of her pancreatitis. Unable to breathe sufficiently on her own, they have placed her on a respirator.

So sorry to hear about your mom. Know you must really be worried about her and being so far away really doesn’t help. We will all keep her in our prayers as well as the rest of you.

She remains in our prayers here as well. I wish I could be there with her, but know there is not much I can do to help. Our Lord Jesus will keep her in his care and I pray provide my Dad with peace. We pray for healing that will relieve Mom’s pain and bring glory to God for all that are around her.

Good news. The latest is that her condition has stabilized considerably. The pain in her pancreas was causing the labored breathing. The labored breathing was causing the increased heart rate. Whatever they’re doing — details to follow — seems to be working. Everyone breathe and pray for her… and we’ll let you know when there’s more to know.
